On November 3rd, Beijing International Long Walk Carnival 2012 Autumn was held in Changping District. Almost 50 foreign and Chinese students from BLCU participated it .
This carnival combines the pleasure of tasting fruits and long walk bodybuilding. Its main venue, starting line and finishing line were set in the bus parking lot of Line 345 in Changping District. And its route was the road along Ming Tombs Reservoir, covering the triathlon circuit in 2008 Olympic Games and 2011 Triathlon World Championship, 16 km in total. During the long walk, all the participants could not only appreciate the alongside scenery and folk performances but also “retrace the Olympic roads” , reviving the passion in 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. Chinese and foreign students communicated with each other during the trip, and Chinese students sometimes explained humanistic knowledge for oversea foreigners, a show of further fusion of diverse cultures and humanistic elements----- the characteristics of Beijing International Long Walk Carnival 2012 Autumn.
