BLCU has always attached great importance to building long-term, organized and comprehensive systems that emphasize the development and construction of civilized environments. The civilized units in Beijing were jointly approved by the General of Beijing's Municipal Party Committee government and is one of the highest honorary titles an institute can receive. Beijing currently has 21 colleges and universities who have received this award.
