In order to prepare for BLCU's 50 anniversary as well as to celebrate the charm of Chinese traditional culture, BLCU's College of Advanced Chinese Third International Student Cultural Week came to a victorious conclusion.

　　BLCU's Party Committee Deputy Secretary Zhao attended the opening ceremony. He hoped that the students would take advantage of the College of Advanced Chinese training's learning and communication platform. This platform was built for them to fully appreciate the charm of Chinese traditional culture and further enhance the awareness and understanding of Chinese language and culture.

　　During the opening ceremony, students and teachers gathered together to enjoy Beijing Yanshan's troupe of actors traditional art performances. They livened the air with cheers. After the end of the performance, the students had more to say and enthusiastically participated in the Chinese traditional arts and crafts show and production activities. Students learned calligraphy using traditional-styled brushes. They enjoyed artistic imagery through graphic arts and technology, they molded dough figurines, paper-cuttings, experienced the art of the Peking Opera and face masks, and were able to wear traditional clothing from the beloved Shang dynasty.

　　The "Celebration of Students' during the Chinese culture activities continued for a week. Students designed a “China and I” series of art exhibitions. They participated in fun activities and held a Kung Fu performance. Other activities included Chinese movie appreciation and wonderful Chinese performances. Students from the College of Advanced Chinese covering more than 130 countries had a blast sharing in a variety of Chinese cultural festivities.
