In the morning of April 24, the Third Beijing ASEAN Students’ Games held grand opening ceremony in Beijing Language and Culture University.

    Mme.Vandy Bouthasavong, Laos ambassador to China, said in her speech that she hoped ASEAN students could strengthen exchanges and cooperation, carry on the friendly partnership heritage of China - ASEAN. Our university Deputy Secretary Wang Luxin said that BLCU has accumulatively enrolled nearly 2, 000 international students from ASEAN countries, they are the bridge and link of the friendly exchanges between China and ASEAN countries. He hoped that ASEAN students could carry forward the Olympic spirits, have the courage to fight and make friends.
