Form April 20 to 27, President Cui Xiliang of BLCU was invited to visit Japan and South Korea.

   During his stay in Japan, President Cui attended the second Council of the BLCU branch campus in Tokyo. He expressed thanks to the faculties for their hard working and emphasized that the branch campus must pay attention to the cultivation of students and teachers.

   In the afternoon of April 22, President Cui attended the eleventh Council of the Hokuriku University Confucius Institute and he hoped that the two universities can expand more cooperation projects on the basis of the existing cooperation and promote the traditional friendship between the two universities to a higher level.

   On April 26, President Cui visited South Korea Chonnam National University. President Cui affirmed the status and influence of Chonnam National University and expressed his will to actively promote the cooperation between the two universities to bid for the Confucius Institute, and also put forward a series of constructive opinions for their application for Confucius Institute.
