On April 12, New Zealand Chinese teachers training classes held the opening ceremony. 12 local Chinese teachers from New Zealand began a period of three weeks of Chinese language learning and cultural experience.
In the three weeks training, the International Chinese Teaching and Research Base prepared for the New Zealand Chinese teachers language preparation courses, task practice courses, language report courses, Chinese grammar and Chinese teaching, Chinese culture experience etc., in addition, they also arranged the visit around the universities, board homes experience, cultural studies and other aspects.
New Zealand local Chinese teachers training class is one of projects supported by the New Zealand Ministry of Education, this is the third consecutive year it’s settled in BLCU and was welcomed by the students. With the previous two years of training and reception experience, International Chinese Teaching and Research Base would try to do well in the all the works, let more foreign people intimate to China, intimate to Chinese language, promoting the Chinese language and culture to take root in the overseas.
