From March 18 to 20, the sixteenth Beijing Language and Culture University Model United Nations Conference held a grand opening ceremony, nearly 200 delegates from 37 colleges and universities nationwide attended the meeting.

    Professor Jia Lieying, Dean of School of International Relations of Beijing Language and Culture University delivered a speech in the opening ceremony. Ms. Bell, from the Chinese Representative Office of the United Nations Development Program delivered a speech in sustainable development, UNDP work content.

    The topics of the Conference covered a wide range of issues including global economy, international civil aviation, the European Union, Asian Investment Banks and other hot issues, four committees launched a heated debate and consultation around the respective issues, finally completed all the items on the agenda. The representatives of the Conference news center also use new media technologies to report around the various aspects of the conference, push the interaction of the conference to a new height.
