Recently, the Confucius Institute headquarters / Hanban volunteer training for Thailand in 2016 is held at Beijing Language and Culture University. In order to help volunteers to carry out teaching better in Thailand, teachers of the Confucius Institute training center further strengthen the country targeted and practical guidance, rely on the advantages of Beijing Language and Culture University in the international Chinese language education, employ training experts with rich experience in teaching and frontline teachers to train the teaching.

    In the training, the Chinese teachers in our university took turns to the stage and showed the inheritance and development of deep academic accumulation and outstanding teaching achievements of Beijing Language and Culture University. On stage, the older generation training experts explained the discipline development direction and theory construction of teaching Chinese as a second language from the macro perspective, famous teaching Chinese as a foreign language teachers displayed vivid teaching methods through case analysis. In addition, what’s new is that our young teachers through their own rich experience of teaching Chinese as a foreign language to let the students feel in advance of the situations and problems in Chinese language teaching and intercultural communication areas, lay a solid foundation for the students to improve foreign language teaching ability, open international perspective overseas in future and spread Chinese culture.
