In the afternoon of March 14, our university Secretary li Yuming met with Li Huiyan, Professor of East Asian languages and Culture and the Department of Linguistics, Professor Maria Luisa Zubizarreta of Department and Associate Professor Hajime Hoji. Three Professors are invited by Professor Si Fuzhen of our university, who is responsible for the “language and cognition” project of Language Science School. The two sides changed opinions on students and academic exchanges.
Secretary Li introduced the development history, characteristics, teachers and Chinese and foreign students cultivation of BLCU. He discussed with three professors on the China language policy, historical development of Mandarin and other issues.
Professor Li Yanhui introduced the professional learning of students in University of Southern California, the University of Southern California and cooperation experience with other Chinese universities.
The two sides both hope to cooperate in the student exchange, sending teachers and academic exchanges and cooperation and jointly promote the future development of the two universities.
