On March 17, the seventh council of Japan Kansai Foreign Language University Confucius Institute was held in BLCU. Party Secretary of the Beijing Language and Culture University Professor Li Yuming, director of Kansai Foreign Language University. Ms. Nagase Motoeiko attended the meeting.

    Secretary Li Yuming expressed his hope that the Confucius Institute will enhance its influence in local area in the future; pointed out the need to strengthen cooperation between the two universities through Confucius Institute, realizing the complementary advantages and win-win development. Through the design of network courses, summer class specific projects, create a global Confucius Institute network centered by our university and realize the resources sharing.

    Ms. Nagase Motoeiko said she fully endorsed with the recommendations put by Secretary Li Yuming, she proposed that in the future we should take the Confucius Institute as a platform to truly realize the combination between “going out” and “invite in”, let young people experience the language and culture of different countries. And she expressed thanks to our long-term support of Kansai Foreign Language University.
