In December 21, the Confucius Institute Teacher Training Center welcomed and trained the volunteers serving Korean primary and secondary schools for the first time, 307 students from a total of 71 national universities and educational institutions participated in the training.

　　Under the guidance of the Confucius Institute Headquarters （Hanban）, the Confucius Institute’s requirements of strengthening inner quality construction and the needs of the Chinese teaching for middle and primary schools in South Korea, Confucius Institute Teachers Training Center developed a specific program and invited South Korea local teachers and experts who have rich experience in Chinese teaching and training, full range improves the training for local and actual combat.

　　This training upheld to undertake the idea of combination of mission of the Confucius Institute Headquarters and actively carry out independent training, committed to the cultivation of qualified Chinese teachers, conveying excellent seed teachers for the needs of different countries for the global Chinese International Education and the development of the Confucius Institute, to promote the sustainable development of the global Confucius Institutes and overseas Chinese teaching and strive to build a world influential “home of overseas Chinese teachers”.
