In December 25th, the second session of the China Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition Beijing Recognition General Assembly was held in Beijing Language and Culture University.

    Secretary Li Yuming extended warm congratulations to the outstanding achievement made by the Beijing volunteer service and guidance center and the participating units and highest respect to the volunteers for their pursuit and dedication. Secretary Li pointed out that the spirit of volunteerism is deeply rooted in the traditional Chinese culture and will also bloom new luster in the new period with the rejuvenation of the nation and national prosperity, and he hoped that BLCU Chinese and foreign volunteers would actively join in the volunteer services and create a better future.

    Beijing Language and Culture University “Colorful Classroom - Heart of the World” Chinese and foreign student volunteers caring for migrant workers children project won the tournament national gold medal. The project is also the only one hosted by university and by Chinese and foreign students as the main body, which fully demonstrates the achievements our university has made in volunteer service work in recent years, the fruitful results of our university’s education idea of “Cultivate People by Virtues”.
