From December 12 to 13, the first “International Chinese Language Teaching Materials Construction and Innovation” international seminar was held in Beijing. 15 experts, 10 textbook editors and 33 teaching materials research experts and scholars were invited to discuss on the construction of the international Chinese language teaching, based on the inheritance of excellent teaching materials and emphasized on innovation.

　　Deputy Secretary Wang Luxin pointed out in his speech that in recent years, a large number of teaching materials that warmly received by students from all over the world have appeared, in the future we should develop more high-quality products and localization materials, while combined with the characteristics of the “Internet +” to have a breakthrough and innovation in the development and construction of teaching materials. At the closing ceremony, Professor Liu Xun summarized: the first is to have ultra-breadth of coverage; the second is the super density information; the third is ultra-high quality and the fourth is the super depth covering surface; Professor Zhang Wangxi expressed appreciation to the cooperated United States Troy University and experts and representatives, called on everyone to strengthen the contact and exchanges, dedicated to the construction and innovation of the international Chinese language teaching materials.
