From December 16 to 18, the fourth CRI Cup National College Arabic Speech Contest was held in our university.

　　Vice Minister of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zhang Ming in his speech pointed out that the “One Road, One Belt” proposed by President Xi Jinping obtained the positive response from the Arab countries and China Arab will forge closer relations and richer cooperation. We should take the Arabic as the key to jointly promote the China Arab friendship and help China Arab relations continue to make greater development. Principal Cui Xiliang in his speech said that in recent years BLCU Middle Eastern Studies and Arabic Studies Center gives full play of special advantage in promoting Sino foreign cultural exchanges in the field of humanism by “bringing in” and “going out”, carrying out educational cooperation and academic exchanges with Arab countries and promoting friendly exchanges between China and Arab countries.

　　BLCU continuously hosted the CRI Cup National Arabic speech contest for four years, the competition has become the first-class domestic and owns extensive international influence, becoming the a beautiful card of Beijing Language and Culture University.
