In the afternoon of December 9th, the delegation of the Cuban Havana University visited BLCU.
Cuban representatives discussed with our university on the Dean of Confucius Institute, teachers and volunteers, Pacific Confucius Institute building project acceptance and equipment procurement, the Confucius Institute expanded enrollment, training professionals in the Spanish translation, as well as the jointly cultivation programs and other issues. Director Zhang Baojun said that our university attached great importance to the work of Havana Confucius Institute, in using the BLCU advantage of Chinese teaching, at the same time also introduced a series of policies to encourage teachers to teach in Cuban. He suggested that through the Confucius Institute Scholarship and the Confucius new Sinology plan Cuban could send part students to study Chinese translation, enriching the Chinese Spanish translation professional teacher team.
The talks have solved the problems encountered during the development of University of Havana in Cuba and provided valuable advice and suggestions for the future construction.
