In the afternoon of November 10, Beijing Language and Culture University freshmen inspirational lectures was successfully held in Yi Fu report hall. This lecture invited the Department of International Cooperation and Exchanges of Ministry of Education, Chinese Consul General in Osaka, Japan Mr. Shan Yaozhong to give the lecture for the freshmen entitled “Practice the Strategy of Strengthening the Country Through Talents, Help to Achieve the Dream of China”.

　　Mr. Shan Yaozhong from his own experience in the Ministry of Education and foreign work experience points out that, the competition between countries is the competition of comprehensive national strength, and the competition of comprehensive national strength is the competition of high technology and high quality talents, as a contemporary college students, we should be cultivate our personality, work hard and make our own efforts to achieve the dream of China. At the same time, he quoted President Xi “dare to have dream, dare to pursue dream, dare to achieve dream” to encourage contemporary college students to work hard.

　　University is an important period in the development of one’s life, Mr. Shan Yaozhong put forward three ardent hopes for the majority of students, namely “cultivate personality and be a good person” during college life, adhere to the virtues; “make career preparations”, pay attention to the accumulation of knowledge, cultivate ability and accumulate richly and break forth vastly; “determined to dream”, establish firm belief, lofty goals and the grand ideal.
