In the morning of October 20, Deputy Secretary Wang Luxin met with the Member of the Economic Committee of the U.S. and the famous scholar Wadi - A - Halabi.

　　He warmly welcomed the visit of Mr. Halabi and introduced to him the educational philosophy of BLCU and teaching and research achievements. Mr. Halabi expressed his thanks to have the opportunity to visit BLCU. Invited by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the CPC, Mr. Halabi came to China to participate in academic activities and workshops, he has given academic lectures in the Tsinghua University, Peking University, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, Beijing Normal University and Renmin University of China.
