Recently, a two-year term of the Beijing Ninth University Youth Teachers’ Basic Teaching Skills Competition (History Group) was held in Beijing Normal University, a total of 73 students from 46 universities participated the competition in the form of class presentation. BLCU representative in the competition is Teacher Li Yan, from Chinese International Education Department Intensive Chinese College, lived up to expectations and won the history group (b) first prize, Best Presentation Award and Students Welcome Award. Su Yingxia won the Best Guide Teacher Award and BLCU Union won Units Outstanding Organization Award.

　　BLCU union takes the basic teaching skills of young teachers as the starting point and fully shows the educational function of union organizations to young teachers. The union, the educational department and personnel department cooperated and in the support of each college, since the beginning of 2009 the Beijing Sixth University Youth Teachers’ Basic Teaching Skills Competition, has won four consecutive first prize of history group (group B).
