BLCU Held the Fourth Japan and South Korea Campus Festival

  On the afternoon of May 22, the students union of School of Oriental Languages and Culture of Foreign Language Department in BLCU held the fourth Japan and South Korea Campus Festival in the basketball court. This event was themed in “Japan and South Korea Campus Festival, Mind Acts upon Mind”.

  More than one hundred of Chinese, Japanese and the South Korean students participated in the arrangement of the site activity. They were enthusiastic and dedicated, hoping to present the authentic Japanese and South Korea campus culture to every visitor by this activity. The booth area was taken charge by each class and each student association, with the theme of the most essence part in the culture of Japan and South Korea. This activity enriched the campus life and at the same time attracted more people to walk into BLCU and understand BLCU.

  Originated in Japan, campus festival was similar to China’s campus culture festival, which is one of the biggest routine activities in Japan and South Korea every year, from primary school to universities. Campus festival is to enrich the campus cultural life, strengthening students’ team work ability and alleviating the pressure of schoolwork. It is organized with the classes and clubs as a unit and students can choose and decide their display content and display form.
