A Series Activities of “2014 Reading Season·Read Classics” Officially Started
On the coming of the 19th“World Reading Day”, the “2014 Reading Season·Read Classics” series activities organized by propaganda department allied with related departments were officially started. On the morning of April 23, reading experience of Chinese traditional classics and activity of Zhongguancun Book Building into campus was hosted on the crossroad of our school library. On the start of the activity, readers at the show stand came in an endless stream, both students and teachers stopping to read or buy books, which formed a particular scenery line of the campus.
In order to coordinate with this event, the propaganda department invited the school experts to list about 50 traditional classic books, and also cooperated with Zhongguancun Book Building to invite book stores into campus. The book stores have selected hundreds of Chinese books, foreign books and audiovisual products for all the students and teachers to read. Membership card was also available to provide discount for buying books.
