The first “BLCU Cup” Spanish Model United Nations of Jingjin Area was Hosted
On May 25th, hosted by BLCU, undertook by the foreign languages college of BLCU, co-sponsored by Beijing Instituto Cervantes and BLCU press, the first “BLCU Cup” Spanish Model United Nations of Jingjin Area was hosted in Yifu Lecture hall in BLCU.
The Model United Nations is a meeting modeling the operation ways and principles of United Nations and related international organizations and centering on international hot issue. The young students acting as diplomatist and representatives of different countries participate in the “United Nations Conference”. With the host of presidium and according to the conference rules, the representatives elaborate “his own country’s” ideas and argue for “national interest” to agree on the optimal programme for the whole human being’s interests. It was the first time nation-wide to take Spanish as a working language in Model United Nations of Jingjin Area.
