On the morning of December 25, Confucius Institute Headquarters / Hanban held a pre-job training ceremony for Chinese volunteer teachers teaching in Korean primary and secondary schools in Beijing Language and Culture University in 2019.

As the first Confucius Institute teacher training center in China, BLCU has been working in remain true to our original aspiration and to deliver outstanding teachers to the global Chinese international education and the development of Confucius Institutes to meet the needs of different countries and promote the development of the global Confucius Institutes and overseas Chinese teaching. This volunteer training for Chinese teachers in primary and secondary schools in South Korea has invited experts in the field of international Chinese education, as well as front-line teachers with rich teaching experience in the country of assignment to give lectures. The curriculum lays stress on theoretical basis and practical training, and strengthens the pertinence of countries and posts, in an effort to effectively improve the actual teaching ability of Chinese volunteer teachers in a short period of time and contribute to the smooth development of overseas Chinese teaching.
