I’m Professor Koen Lamberts, President of the University of Sheffield and I would like to wish you a very happy Chinese New Year. The University has a long and proud history of welcoming students and staff from China. Our first Chinese student graduated in 1908, and we now have a large and thriving Chinese alumni community of Chinese graduates across the world. We are very proud to be a global university with students and staff from more than 150 countries. On behalf of everyone at the University of Sheffield, I would like to wish you a very happy Year of the Tiger. After the challenges of the last two years, I hope that this year is a positive and successful one for you all.
