On the morning of September 12, the flags of all nations fluttered in the breeze on the campus of Beijing Language and Culture University, welcoming more than 900 2018 Chinese and foreign graduate students with a smiling face. They came to the Beiyu Litang to attend the opening ceremony full of excitement right after their enrollment. At about 9 a.m., the opening ceremony of 2018 Chinese and foreign graduate students in BLCU was ceremoniously held here.

The opening ceremony coincided with the period of both Teachers' Day and the Mid-Autumn Festival. The conference specially arranged freshmen representatives to present "heartiest regards cards" to BLCU leaders and professors to express students' respect and blessing to teachers. BLCU leaders and professors who received the cards also presented their BLCU badges to the freshmen representatives, congratulating them on becoming "BLCUer". Teachers and students sent good wishes to each other and made the ceremony site warm.
