Recently, the education steering committee office of the state council released the notice on feedback of the results of experts' evaluation of doctoral dissertations sampling inspection, all the 8 doctoral dissertations sampled in Beijing Language and Culture University passed the sampling inspection.

This sampling of doctoral dissertations is a random sampling of doctoral dissertations awarded nationwide in the 2015-2016 academic year by the office of the state council's Education Steering Committee in accordance with the relevant requirements of the education supervision regulations and the sampling methods for doctoral dissertations. The eight doctoral dissertations sampled in BLCU covering the first-class subjects authorized by the two doctoral students of Chinese language and literature and foreign language and literature, including one dissertation of foreign student. The results of the expert review of the eight dissertations were all qualified and there was no “problematic degree dissertation”.

BLCU has been actively cooperating with the Ministry of Education and Beijing Academic Degrees Office's paper sampling work, and will continue to strengthen the quality control of academic dissertations, take further measures to improve the quality guarantee system of graduate education in BLCU and steadily improve the quality of graduate cultivation.
