On March 11th, the 12 days’ 2018 art major examination ended. Nearly 1300 candidates from 13 provinces and cities across the country successively entered the campus to participate in the examinations of painting, calligraphy, and music. Among them, 420 students applied for painting, 755 applied for calligraphy, and 117 candidates applied for musicology (International Education and Communication of Music).
In order to well prepare this exam, the Office of Student Affairs and College of Art worked in close cooperation. In accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education to strengthen risk prevention and control, the Office of Student Affairs not only strictly control the proposition, the system volume, the examiner training, examination discipline, results input and other key links, but also made this exam the first time to add second random Draw lots in the music major examination and made the examiners completely avoid candidates information to ensure that the examination process is fair and just.
Recently, in accordance with the relevant requirements of the Ministry of Education, the recruitment organization has established an expert group composed of experts both inside and outside the university to review the examination papers. The examination results are expected to be announced before the end of March.
