BLCU Students Won the 7th Undergraduates Journalist Contest Champion

On December 9, the seventh undergraduates’ journalist contest was kicked off at the University of International Business and Economics. The context, with its theme of "Remain true to our original aspiration and keep our mission firmly in mind and Stressing the Stories of Chinese Colleges and Universities in a New Era," was hosted by the Beijing Institute of Journalism and Cultural Communication and was undertook by the University of International Business and Economics. Beijing Language and Culture University won the best organization award.

Through the "finishing touch", "each word a gem", "to hit the mark with a single comment" and other six links, The preliminary round examined the contestants’' professionalism and application ability. In the end, BLCU scored the final with a score of 56.8 points and the fifth place. In the afternoon final, in the face of rivalries, BLCU contestants achieved good result with a leisurely attitude and great strength in the previous round of links. In the end, BLCU won the Grand Prize with the first place in the overall score.

The Capital University Journalist Contest for Basic Skills will enhance the basic literacy of college and university journalists, cultivate the journalistic thinking and adaptability of colleges and universities, and promote the continuous development of college cultural construction and campus media culture. The competition provided a platform for college journalists to show themselves and interact with each other. BLCU delegation team had demonstrated the demeanor of BLCU reporters during the competition.
