October 20 to October 21, the fourth session of the joint meeting of heads of undergraduate major TESOL of was held in Beijing.

The purpose of the conference was to strengthen the exchanges and communication between the heads of undergraduate major TESOL of the national colleges and universities, to promote the subject construction and talent training of the undergraduate subject TESOL in order to reflect the core of TESOL and the essence of its curriculum system. With making the guiding training programs for the undergraduate education as the main topic, the meeting had further exchanges on the further development of TESOL of undergraduate education.

During the intense and fulfilling day meeting, the professional leaders and experts and scholars of the colleges and universities focused on the core curriculum system and training programs to develop two major central issues, and had fierce discussion about the various problems facing the professional development. Through this meeting, we had in-depth understanding of the connotation of professional term; we had cleared about the subject development direction, and had strengthened the subject development confidence, the meeting made a series of consensus that would have guiding significance for the future development of the subject.
