In order to meet the 55th anniversary of BLCU, the Faculty of International Education of Chinese Language the Chinese held a celebration ceremony. On the afternoon of September 29th, the essay contest was held at 1115 in No. 1 teaching building. The essay contest was launched in early July to encourage foreign students to express their true feelings, to write what they saw in BLCU, to record the time of study abroad in BLCU, and to show the harvest in Chinese learning.

Foreign students were actively participated in the essay context, under the guidance of counselors, they wrote about their thinking in learning Chinese language. After the joint selection of the Foreign Student Affairs office and Teaching and Research Section, a total of 11 students won the outstanding works award. They were full of sincere feelings towards China, BLCU, and Chinese learning in their articles.

The essay contest enriched the students' campus cultural life, created a good learning atmosphere, built a stage for the students to show themselves, to exercise their abilities, and shaped a positive and progressive spirit t of loving BLCU, loving the School of Chinese Studies.
