On the afternoon of September 9, Beijing Language and Culture University held a symposium of Chinese and foreign alumni, 21 Chinese and foreign alumni gathered together to celebrate the 55th BLCU birthday and offered their blessings for their alma mater.

Some alumnus at home and abroad had become ambassadors or cultural and educational counselor, some had engaged in foreign trade, no matter what posts, they said they will actively promote the economic and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries, to build a platform and bridge of friendship between China and foreign countries, and will keep concern about the development of their alma mater.

Each Beiyuer graduated from BLCU is the witness of the BLCU's development process. Their stories are part of BLCU story, and BLCU is also a precious corner of their stories. Three university leaders have presented alumni the mascot of BLCU-"baby fish", hopes that this auspicious fish symbolizes wealth can bring good luck and best wishes.
