On June 28 morning, Beijing Language and Culture University 2017 summer undergraduate graduation ceremony was held in Run Run Shaw Stadium.

Beijing Language and Culture University 2017 undergraduate students had a total number of 1353 graduated students, 1342 students received their degrees, 116 students received minor professional certificate, and 95 students received their certificates for minor course. The graduates came from 57 countries and regions, distributed in BLCU’s majors include Chinese language, Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languages, Chinese as a second language, translation and other 25 undergraduate majors. A total number of 64 graduates were rated as outstanding graduates, including 52 Chinese graduates, 12 international graduates.

President Liu Li congratulated the graduates who had completed their studies on behalf of BLCU, thanked the teachers who had worked hard, and expressed their gratitude to their parents, relatives and friends. He hoped that graduates will be able to pass on their alma mater's excellent values, with a strong belief that their alma mater gave to them, to support their proud lives.

In the graduation ceremony, BLCU leaders awarded honorary certificates for the 2017 Beijing Language and Culture University outstanding Chinese and foreign graduates, and awarded alumni contact cards for the 2017 new alumni. Subsequently, BLCU held a grand degree award ceremony, Chinese and foreign graduates and president Liu Li posed for photographs.
