On May 24, the first meeting of the Sino-German high-level cultural exchange dialogue mechanism was held in Beijing. As an important supporting event, “Mutual learning·Cultural blend-45 Exchanging Years of Sino-German Universities” was co-sponsored by the China Scholarship Council and the German Academic Exchange Center. Vice Premier Liu Yandong of the State Council attended and addressed. BLCU selected nine outstanding German student representatives to participate in the event.

Since the establishment of Sino-German diplomatic relations 45 years ago, the cultural exchanges had been deepened and the content of cooperation had been widened and the achievements of cooperation had become increasingly prominent.

BLCU and the German universities had maintained long-term good relations of cooperation; BLCU would continue to enhance the international level of education, to improve the international students’ educational management system, and to further promote cultural exchanges, in order to attract more outstanding students to study in BLCU, and to promote the international development of BLCU.
