April 10, BLCU’s international Chinese teaching and research base hosted held an opening ceremony for its undertaken study and training project of 2017 New Zealand native Chinese teachers in China.
Study and training class for native Chinese teachers in New Zealand has been settled for four consecutive years in BLCU since 4 years ago. And it is one of the projects supported by the the New Zealand Ministry of Education. During the three-week study, the training of local Chinese teachers in New Zealand was set up based on the task-based teaching method, which included the pre-task language preparation course of different tasks, the language practice activities during the task, the post-task language reporting section, and include provide Chinese characters and Chinese characters teaching, and a series of Chinese cultural experience courses; and included arrangements of primary and secondary school visits, home experience, and cultural inspection activities.
In the advantage of the discipline ascendancy of BLCU, the International Chinese Language Teaching and Research Base will do its best to bring the real, modern and lively Chinese style back to New Zealand and meanwhile it will improve the level of Chinese and Chinese teaching of the participants, so as to contribute to overseas spread of Chinese.
