In the afternoon of December 30, the 2017 Chinese New Year Celebrations organized by the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language of BLCU was held in Yifu Hall. “Colorful New Year, Young Language”, teachers and students of the Department of Teaching Chinese as a Second Language performed on the same stage, and sang the youth chapter together.

The party is divided into three chapters, interspersed with two interactive sessions. The hot opening dance, “Bliss Pure Land” set on fire the audience. “Beijing, Beijing” sang by Bai Yinda from Cameroon and the Indonesian - style songs sang by an Indonesian student have captured the audience’s heart. Japan’s player Nishida Cong and Congolese Ouyang Song performed the classic comic “Play the Festival Couplets”, making the audience once again realize the profound Chinese culture. Liu Qin played the grand “Against Typhoon” in traditional Chinese instrument zither, Myanmar students performed unique Myanmar dance, along with the dynamic Korean dance, funny voice dubbing, strong and intense poetry recitation, vigorous calligraphy performance, the reunion end in the song of “Love Each Other”. Chinese and foreign graduate students celebrated the New Year where multicultural blend and is full of international characteristics.
