On November 26, Beijing University and College Student Humanities Knowledge Contest final was held in our university. Beijing Language and Culture University team ranked third in Group A, won the first prize, this is the first time of our university to win the first prize of this competition.

Since its inception, the Humanities Knowledge Contest in Beijing has played an important role in cultivating students’ humanistic accomplishment and creating a social and cultural atmosphere, and has gradually become an exploratory and innovative platform for the promotion of outstanding traditional Chinese culture education. The ultimate goal of the competition is to cultivate talents to inherit and carry forward the Chinese culture. To achieve this goal, there is still a long way to go, and BLCU is willing to be a strong supporter and follower of this cause.

The 2016 Beijing University and College Student Humanities Knowledge Contest came to a successful conclusion. The outstanding performance of our contestants showed the profound cultural background and unique style of gentlemen. Observed from the astronomy, to detect time-varying; view of the humanities, to become the world. Young students should inherit and carry forward the fine tradition of Chinese culture as its mission, practice the socialist core values, to become ideal, responsible and sensitive college students.
