In the afternoon of October 22, Beijing Language and Culture University first dodgeball competition (2016 BLCU Annual Dodgeball Tournament) opened. The competition attracted 96 international students from 16 countries of five continents. In the international student groups of Chinese universities, it is the first time to hold a dodgeball competition.

The competition is under the guidance of Office of International Student Affairs and organized by BLCU Association for International Understanding. The aim of the competition is to enrich the sports and cultural life of international students in the form of innovative sports, to promote the exchange of students from different countries and regions, to experience and appreciate the various sports and cultural charms of different countries, and to enhance their friendship.

This competition is not only a platform for international student to carry forward the spirit of sports athletic, but also a stage to broadcast athletic sweat at the same time, enjoy the athletic show. Adhering to the promotion of cultural exchanges and stimulate the spirit of sports purposes and purposes, BLCU will provide more varieties of sports and recreational activities in the future for international students, so that students can experience the different regional cultural charm of different countries.
