BLCU Held the Third International Seminar on Sino - French Language Policy and Planning

From November 1 to 2, the third Sino-French International Conference on Language Policy and Planning held a grand opening ceremony at BLCU.

The theme of the conference is “Language Development and Cultural Diversity”, which consists of four sub-forums: Language Policy and Planning, Language Protection and Cultural Diversity, Language Services and Language Communication, French Education and Chinese Language Education. In this conference the Chinese and French governments signed the exchange and cooperation agreement on language cooperation and exchange, which was the first bilateral cooperation agreement signed by the National Language Committee and published the second symposium “Sino-French Language Policy Research”, which further promoted the construction of harmonious language life and multicultural reference in both countries and in the French - speaking countries. During the seminar, a one-week exhibition on Sino-French Linguistic and Cultural Exchanges and Cooperation will be held at the Capital Museum.
