On the evening of November 22, the “Global Voices (NGO)” International Music Festival hosted by the Music Department of Sheffield University welcomed the Chinese Orchestra again. This is the first time Chinese folk music has been added to Sheffield's classical music festival since the Shanghai Conservatory of Music was invited to perform in Britain last year, and Chinese music has once again entered the stage of Sheffield's music festival. At this music festival, Kong Yuan invited young artists from Zhejiang Conservatory of Music to play wonderful music from China in the Firth Hall, and hundreds of local people enjoyed the concert.
When the music is played, the voice of China is widely shared. The Confucius Institute of Sheffield University will continue to work on the integration of Chinese and English art, bringing more Chinese art with rich forms and lots of implications to Britain and playing a new beautiful poem for the mutual learning of Chinese and British civilizations.
