From November 19 to 20,13 native teachers from the Confucius Institute of Sheffield University participated in the special training of “English native Chinese teachers' professional training in 2018”organized by Hanban UK Representative Office/British Chinese Examination Committee.

Chinese and British experts work hand in hand. Each professional lecture is equipped with interactive workshops, which not only enable teachers to systematically understand the latest theoretical research in phonetics, culture, teaching and so on, but also discuss and practice in use. Through problem analysis, breakthrough point discovery, curriculum design and practice arrangement, how to apply the acquired knowledge to the actual teaching through on-site practice is discussed.

This is the first special training sponsored by the National Hanban/Confucius Institute headquarters, aiming to further improve the professional quality and professional skills of English native Chinese teachers, and to promote the sharing of teachers' experiences and exchange of learning so as to develop together and continuously improve.
