Recently, in order to promote the development of pipa art in Asia and further the integration of Asia and international art of pipa, the “First Singapore International Festival of Pipa Art” organized by the international association for the promotion of music and dance exchange, the Organizing Committee of the International Chinese Art Festival and the Organizing Committee of the Singapore International Pipa Art Festival concluded in Singapore.

Teachers and students of the Art School of Beijing Language and Culture University actively organized the competition to show the elegant demeanor of music international education and communication major. Under the guidance of BLCU pipa teacher Gao Sichao, Liu Xiaojia, a student of grade 2017 majoring in music international education and communication, won the recognition and praise of expert judges for his solid basic skills, excellent stage performance and excellent improvisational performance, and finally won the “Young Career Group C Pipa (Solo) Silver Award”, winning honor for our BLCU. At the same time, Mr. Gao Sichao was invited to participate in the evaluation of this art festival and won the “Singapore International Pipa Art Festival-Outstanding Instructor Award”.
