On June 15, the inauguration ceremony of the Beijing Language and Culture University School of Language Intelligence and the Academic Forum on Language Intelligence were held in BLCU.

In order to better serve the national strategy and the needs of the development of BLCU, to further consolidate and expand our leading position in linguistics and related fields, and to better support the construction of “double first-class”, BLCU decided to set up “Research Institute of Language Intelligence”. The goal of the research institute is to make the language intelligence research institute into an authoritative and influential artificial intelligence research institution both at home and abroad. The research institute will focus on the research direction, integrate academic strength, strengthen collaborative research, meet the needs of the country, produce more forward-looking, leading and interdisciplinary high-level results, and better serve the cultivation of language intelligent talents and the development and innovation of this undertaking.

The establishment of this research institute will have an important impact on the construction and career development of artificial intelligence and linguistics.
