On June 18, the 7th China-South Korea Forum jointly organized by Beijing Language and Culture University and Keimyung University was held in Run Run Shaw lecture hall of BLCU, which is one of the academic exchange programs on the platform of the Confucius Institute of cooperation between the two universities.
At the meeting, Chinese and Korean scholars held further discussions on Sino-Korean relations and economic and trade cooperation, Sino-Korean education and people-to-people exchanges, and interacted with the audience. The atmosphere was very warm.
Since the establishment of the cooperative relationship between BLCU and Keimyung University in 1994, after more than 20 years of development, the two universities have established all-round and close cooperative exchanges in the fields of student exchange, teacher exchange, academic cooperation, Confucius Institute and so on, becoming a model of cooperation between Chinese and Korean universities. The two universities have jointly held many Sino-Korean academic seminars, with fruitful results. The further exchanges and discussions between scholars of the two countries on academic, cultural, historical, economic and trade issues between China and South Korea have played a positive role in promoting cultural exchanges in East Asia, enhancing mutual understanding between the two peoples in cultural and historical aspects, and enhancing the vitality of regional educational exchanges and cooperation.
