In the morning of 25 May, the delegation of 6 people from the Student Department of Ministry of Education of Laos and the Education and Culture Department of the Laos Embassy in China visited our university and the conference was held in the meeting room 807 in the Comprehensive Building.

　　The Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchanges of BLCU, Mr. Ma Tieshi simply introduced the history, characteristics and international student enrollment and management aspects of BLCU and also specially introduced our cooperation with ASEAN countries. Song Ruijing of the International Student Affairs Office introduced the two levels of management system of the international students in our university. Yuan Yi of Foreign Student Enrollment Office introduced the qualification requirements for foreign student’s enrollment and so on. The Deputy Director of the Student Department of Ministry of Education of Laos Mr. Khamtanh SOMVONG was deeply inspired and hoped to learn the advanced experience of BLCU international student’s management, providing valuable information for a growing number of Lao students studying in China. Both sides expressed wish to further deepen understanding and strengthen cooperation in various fields in the future.
