On 14th May, the awards ceremony and premiere of BLCU Second Micro Film Competition themed in “China in the eyes of foreigners and the world in the eyes of China” was held in room 209 of the Main Building.

　　The Second Micro Film Competition of Beijing Language and Culture University was officially started from 10, December 2014, a total of students from 12 colleges and 17 countries actively participated in the contest and the works collected was ended on 8th, April 2015. After the initial selection, 18 original and wonderful works from the Chinese and foreign students came to the final stage. Five professional judges composed of inside and outside the campus judged the micro films in a comprehensive way and selected eight awards, including Best Film and Best Performance.

　　After the ceremony, the films that won the Best Film Award, Best Performance Award and Best Cinematography Award were premiered on the contest site. This micro film contest riches the themes, stands in higher platform on a larger scale and expands the influence of the contest, while at the same time, it also enlarges the reputation of BLCU as a “mini United Nations”, interprets the rich cultural heritage of BLCU from a totally new perspective, shows the style of contemporary college students and inherits and carries forward the excellent traditional Chinese culture and morality.
