In the morning of 14th May, the President Cui Xiliang met with Professor Carice, the President of Sino-Israel Academic Exchange Promotion Association. The President Cui Xiliang welcomed the delegation’s second visit and praised Professor Carice’s effort in strengthening the academic exchange of the two sides and looked forward to the further cooperation between the two sides.

　　On 5th June, the specially invited expert of the Sino-Israel Academic Exchange Promotion Association professor Mr. Ayew Tepper made a lecture titled “The Relation between Israeli Music and Israeli Identity” in the Arab Studies Center of our university. He explained the particularity of Israeli music style and the unique association with Israel’s unique culture and customs and explained the Western elements and the middle elements penetrated in the development of Israeli music. The students interacted with the experts positively and showed strong interest in the music culture and the related knowledge of Israeli identity that the professor had described. In the afternoon of May 14th, Professor Carice gave a lecture on the subject of “The Relationship between China and Israel” to the students and the teachers in our university.
