September 11 morning, teachers of Propaganda Department and Language Proficiency Test Center and students of the school radio station and school reporter group together distributed promotional materials, and answer consults from teachers and students at the school crossroad, which marked that the 16th BLCU National Popularization of Mandarin Week was officially started. This activity was organized by the Propaganda Department, including "Chinese classics: Reading, Calligraphy and Music" party, "the BLCU Chinese Language and Cultural Knowledge Contest for both Domestic and Foreign Students" and five academic lectures.
From September 11 to September 17 was 16th National Popularization of Mandarin week. The theme of this event was: popularize Mandarin, build Chinese dream.
