On the evening of October 8, the School of Preparatory Education of Beijing Language and Culture University held an evening self-study counseling training meeting to Chinese volunteer teachers for international students.

It is known that about 255 foreign students have come to BLCU this year for evening self-study. After strict selection, BLCU has selected more than 60 volunteers to provide counseling service to the foreign students during evening self-study.

BLCU has always attached great importance to the effectiveness of foreign students’ study in China. They face difficult and intense study tasks and cannot get good results without the joint efforts of Chinese volunteers and foreign students. The responsibility of volunteers is not only targeted and regular work, but also a systematic and responsible “teacher”.

Evening self-study for students from the School of Preparatory Education are the granary for foreign students to reserve knowledge and another warm home for them. The volunteers’ contributions not only represent individuals, but also represent the whole Chinese community.
