On the morning of September 13, a delegation of Myanmar University presidents led by Dr. Thein Win, Director of the Ministry of Education's Ministry of Higher Education, visited Beiyu. The delegation consisted of the presidents of 13 universities in Myanmar, with a total of 13 members.
President Liu Li warmly welcomed the delegation's visit. He introduced the history, school-running characteristics, college establishment, overseas branches, Sino-foreign cooperation projects, Confucius Institute and other aspects of BLCU, especially the Chinese teaching system, curriculum establishment, students' characteristics, teachers' strength and major scientific research achievements. He said Myanmar is a very important partner and hopes to carry out extensive and in-depth exchanges and cooperation with local universities in Myanmar in the future, and actively cooperate in Chinese teaching and exchanges between Chinese and Myanmar students.
Dr. Thein Win, director of the Ministry of Education's Department of Higher Education, thanked Beiyu for its constant care and care for Myanmar students. He stressed that many of the Chinese textbooks currently used in Myanmar are published in the northern language, and he hopes that more Myanmar students will study Chinese in the northern language or major in Chinese.
