On the morning of September 17, Professor Lian Yaming, Head of the Sinology Department at Bonn University and Director of Confucius Institute in Bonn University, visited BLCU, President Liu Li and Vice President Zhang Baojun attended the meeting.

President liu li thanked Professor lian yaming for his hard work as Director of the newly-built Confucius Institute in the past year and asked Professor lian Yaming about the basic situation of the department of sinology at Bonn University. President Liu said that Bonn University's sinology research is very famous in Europe. BlCU will further strengthen its cooperation with the department of sinology of Bonn university, gradually carry out projects such as student exchange, teacher exchange and joint international conferences, and will also provide necessary support for the department of sinology of Bonn university to carry out sinology research. The Confucius Institute at Bonn University is a platform for cooperation between the two universities. In the future, it can be relied on to set up a Sinology Research Institute and further expand the fields of cooperation between the two universities.

Professor Lian Yaming introduced the recent development of Confucius Institute at Bonn University, and discussed with President Liu Li about the details of the exchange agreement for German-speaking students to be signed between the two universities and the selection of visiting professors.
