On September 27, the world's fifth “Confucius Institute Day” will be celebrated. The “Confucius Institute Day” is an important celebration held by the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban since September 2014 in global Confucius Institutes and Confucius Classrooms as well. On this day, 525 Confucius Institutes and 1113 Confucius Classrooms in 146 countries and regions around the world will hold all kinds of Chinese cultural experience activities to present a colorful Chinese cultural feast to the people of all countries.

From 11: 00 to 17: 00, local time on September 23, the Confucius Institute in Bonn University held the “2018 Confucius Institute Day” at the Bonn City Hall and the booth of the International Cultural Exchange Festival in Minster Square as well to show the German people Chinese traditional culture such as folk music, tai chi and calligraphy. It was highly valued by the local government and relevant agencies. Mr. Ashok Srid Haran, Mayor of Bonn, personally attended the ceremony and participated in the activities of the Confucius Institute.
